“The Christian admits that the universe is manifold and even miscellaneous, just as a sane man knows that he is complex. The sane man knows that he has a touch of the beast, a touch of the devil, a touch of the saint, a touch of the citizen. Nay, the really sane man knows that he has a touch of the madman. But the materialist’s world is quite simple and solid, just as the madman is quite sure he is sane. Materialists and madmen never have doubts.” – GK Chesterton
I have very dear friends on both sides of the fence when it come to views on the current pandemic and politics in general. My concern is that these different views have put a deep canyon between those who once were inseparable friends and family.
I suppose the advantage of doing shows around the country, is it gives people a break from the stress of opinions and politics for a couple of hours and allows then to get absorbed in the finer things in life like music or dance. We need that right now to strike a balance.
I am currently out with Maks and Val, an amazing dance show. If they are in your city, it may be a good night out for you and your wife or a friend, show dates:
