The Osmonds, A Moment in History

“For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more. But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” – Ps. 37:10-12

“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character give him power.” – Martin Luther King

We are on our 3rd week here in the UK, with most of the shows selling out in advance. Whether or not you are an Osmond fan, this is one of the shows to put on your calendar when they get within a hundred miles of your home. We only have a few more shows left here in the UK and will then finish this part of the world on Fri. and Sat. at the Wembley Arena, the new 02 Arena in London on Sunday. We then fly to Perth, Australia, where we began the SE Asian leg of this tour. I have worked a number of world tours, but this has to be on top of the list when it comes to working with the artists. After 50 years of being a musical icon, the Osmonds have not lost their humility and respect for each other, something very rare in this business. I could go on for days about artists I have worked with that would not get in the same limo with someone they shared the stage with. The hypocrisy knows know limits with some of these groups. Some day I’ll write about some of the crazy people I have worked with, probably when I write one about myself.
